Heels from Chanel's Autumn/Winter 2003 collection, designed under Karl Lagerfeld. The season falls in Lagerfeld's logo-era at Chanel — the period following the first Métiers d'art show of December 2002 — when the interlocking double-C, gilt chain and the beige-and-black two-tone shoe were carried as foregrounded house signatures.
