Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 18 July 2026.
This record covers Mondō orders, delivery and returns.
About these terms
This website is operated by Mondo London Ltd, trading as Mondō (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales under number 17055340. Our business and returns address is 17, Sunbury Workshops, E2 7LF. You can reach us at contact@mondo-london.uk.
By placing an order you agree to these terms. A customer buying for purposes mainly outside their trade or profession remains protected by all mandatory consumer law that applies to the order.
Our pieces
Everything we sell is pre-owned: archive designer clothing and vintage or antique accessories. Each piece is one of a kind and sold as described in its listing. We photograph and inspect every piece, record notable flaws and grade it with regard to its age and previous use. Screen settings can affect how colours appear.
For UK customers, each piece must still be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Signs of age or wear that are clearly disclosed and consistent with the listing are characteristics of a pre-owned piece, not faults.
Condition grading
New with tag
Unworn, with the original tags or packaging still attached.
Excellent
Little to no visible wear; no notable flaws.
Very good
Light wear consistent with age and careful use; no significant flaws.
Good
Visible wear or flaws from age and use; anything notable is described or photographed in the listing.
If you need additional photographs, measurements or condition details, contact us before ordering.
Orders & payment
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm dispatch, when the contract is formed. Because each piece is unique, two orders can occasionally cross or a showroom sale can complete first. The first completed transaction stands and any other payment is refunded promptly in full.
We may cancel before dispatch if a listing contains an obvious pricing, description or stock error. If we do, we explain why and issue a full refund. Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not currently registered for VAT, so VAT is not charged or shown. Payment is handled by Shopify’s payment providers.
Delivery & returns
Dispatch
Orders are prepared and dispatched within 3–5 working days, Monday to Friday excluding UK bank holidays. Each piece is condition-recorded and packed before it leaves the showroom. We send tracking details after dispatch. Carrier transit estimates begin at dispatch; the service and delivery window shown for your address at checkout are the ones that apply to the order.
Services and estimates
| Destination | Service | Estimate |
|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | Tracked service shown at checkout | 2–4 working days |
| Europe | International service shown at checkout | 2–11 working days |
| Other enabled international destinations, including North America | International service shown at checkout | 3–17 working days |
These are estimates, not guarantees. The estimate shown for your address at checkout is the current one and takes precedence over this general guide. Carrier cut-offs, weekends, bank holidays, remote-area handling, customs checks and delayed payment of import charges can add time. Northern Ireland uses the UK service shown at checkout. We provide the standard commercial information required by the carrier.
Delivery charges, customs and insurance
The exact delivery charge is shown at checkout. International orders are normally sent Delivered at Place to the delivery address (DAP, Incoterms® 2020). This means import VAT, customs duties, clearance fees and courier administration charges are not included in the product price or delivery charge and must be paid by the recipient. We declare the order accurately and cannot mark a commercial order as a gift or reduce its value.
We cannot refund import taxes, duties or courier charges paid directly to third parties. If you return an order, ask the relevant customs authority or courier whether those charges can be reclaimed.
International carrier costs vary with destination, packed dimensions and weight, service, shipment value and carrier surcharges; there is no single worldwide base price. Any carrier protection we purchase is for Mondō’s outbound shipment and does not transfer risk to you. Goods remain at our risk until you, or a person you nominate other than the carrier, takes physical possession. If a parcel is lost before then, we refund you; if it arrives damaged, your statutory remedies apply. Any claim against our carrier is ours to handle. The exception is a carrier you independently commission and we did not offer.
Showroom collection
Collection is free by appointment from Mondō, 17, Sunbury Workshops, E2 7LF. Wait for the collection-ready email before travelling, then bring the order confirmation and photographic identification. Collection does not remove cancellation rights attached to an online order.
Returns
Online cancellations
Notify us no later than 14 days after delivery if you wish to cancel an online order for change of mind. If one order arrives in separate parcels, the period runs from delivery of the last piece. Email contact@mondo-london.uk with a clear cancellation statement; include your order number where possible. Send the piece back within the following 14 days.
Address the return to Mondō Returns, 17, Sunbury Workshops, E2 7LF, United Kingdom. You arrange and pay the direct return cost. We recommend secure packaging and a tracked service with cover appropriate to the piece; keep proof of postage.
Return condition
Handle a piece only as necessary to inspect it as you would in the showroom. Return it unworn beyond a careful try-on, unwashed and unaltered, with the Mondō return tag, labels, accessories and protective materials supplied. We record each piece before dispatch.
We inspect the returned piece against that record and may deduct any reduction in value caused by handling beyond that. Where this causes an actual reduction in value, removed tags, missing accessories, wear, washing, alterations, scent, marks or damage may reduce the refund.
Refunds
For a valid cancellation, we refund the price and the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option to the original payment method. Premium delivery upgrades and third-party import charges are not refunded. We may withhold the refund until we receive the piece or evidence that it was sent to the correct address. We issue it within 14 days of receiving the returned piece or evidence that it was sent, whichever is earlier.
Outside this process
All sales are final for change of mind outside the statutory online cancellation period. We do not accept late change-of-mind returns, exchanges or store-credit requests. Sale and Archive pieces carry no extended return period. Purchases completed at our showroom or other business premises are final for change of mind.
Faulty or misdescribed pieces are handled separately under applicable statutory rights. Contact us promptly; where those rights apply, Mondō pays the reasonable return cost.
Cancellation form
You may use this form to cancel, but you do not have to. An email or another clear statement is enough.

Archive & intellectual property
The Archive is principally a record of pieces that have passed through the studio. A record is not itself an offer to sell. If a piece may be available by enquiry, we confirm availability, price and sale terms in writing before an order is formed.
Site text, photography and design belong to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. Designer names and trademarks belong to their respective houses. We use them only to identify genuine second-hand goods and are not affiliated with or endorsed by those houses.
Liability, law & complaints
Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, breach of your statutory rights, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach. We are not responsible for business losses suffered by a consumer.
Events beyond our reasonable control may delay an order. We tell you when an order is affected and take reasonable steps to limit the delay. This does not remove any cancellation or refund right arising from material delay or non-delivery. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Customers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also use their local courts, and this clause does not remove mandatory protections in the country where you live.
If something has gone wrong, email contact@mondo-london.uk. We normally reply within two working days.
