Description

A dress from Chanel's Spring/Summer 2008 collection, designed by Karl Lagerfeld, then well into his tenure as the house's creative director. The season falls within the brand-forward 2000s of his work at Chanel, when the interlocking double-C and bouclé tweed were foregrounded house codes. Chanel was founded by Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel in Paris in 1910.
