Prada 1997SS Top

A top from Prada, designed by Miuccia Prada for the Spring/Summer 1997 season. It sits in the house's late-1990s 'banal eccentricity' era, when retro and geometric prints and intentionally awkward proportions were rendered desirable. By this point industrial Pocone nylon had migrated from the house's bags into its ready-to-wear as a core code. Miuccia Prada was the sole creative director.
