Prada 1998SS Skirt

A skirt from Prada's spring/summer 1998 collection, designed by Miuccia Prada, who held sole creative direction of the house. The piece dates to the late-1990s 'ugly chic' era, characterised by subverted 'bad taste', off-key palettes, retro and geometric prints, and deliberately awkward proportions. Prada was founded in Milan in 1913 as Fratelli Prada.
