Prada 2004FW Handbag

A handbag from Prada, the house founded in Milan in 1913 by Mario Prada as the leather-goods and luggage maker Fratelli Prada. It dates to the Autumn/Winter 2004 season, when ready-to-wear was directed by Miuccia Prada. The house is associated with industrial Pocone nylon, a parachute-derived synthetic elevated into luxury accessories, and with saffiano, a wax-treated calf leather embossed with a fine cross-hatch.
