An autumn/winter 2019 coat from Yohji Yamamoto, designed by the house's founder, who has led the label without interruption since its early-1970s founding and its 1981 Paris debut. By this season the house's deconstructed, near-monochrome signature, built on draping and soft tailored outerwear, was long established. The piece sits within that continuing language.
