Chanel 2005SS Coat

A coat from Chanel's Spring/Summer 2005 collection, designed by Karl Lagerfeld, who held the creative-director role across all collections of this period. The house's tailoring vocabulary of the era draws on the bouclé tweed cardigan-jacket, its edges contoured with braid and galon trim. Chanel was founded by Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel in Paris in 1910.
