A top from Prada's Spring/Summer 1997 collection, designed by Miuccia Prada. It dates from the late-1990s 'banal eccentricity' era, when muddy palettes and geometric, 1950s-derived prints were made desirable through confidence and context. By this point the house's industrial Pocone nylon had migrated from bags into ready-to-wear as a core code. Prada was founded in Milan in 1913.
