A coat from Yohji Yamamoto's Spring/Summer 2003 collection. By this point the house had a long-established language of deconstruction, exposed seams, and predominantly monochrome cloth, developed since its Paris debut in 1981. The cut favours volume and drape over body-conscious tailoring.
