Chanel 1999FW Suit

A suit from Chanel's Autumn/Winter 1999 collection, designed by Karl Lagerfeld, then over a decade into his tenure. The late-1990s collections reworked the house codes at ready-to-wear pace, foregrounding signatures such as the bouclé tweed cardigan-jacket and braid trim. Chanel was founded by Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel in Paris in 1910.
